Beastie Boys give Fallon what he wants

The Beastie Boys dropped by “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” last night to plug the reissue of Check Your Head, which is a very(!) close second to Paul’s Boutique for my favorite B-Boys record. I will say this, though—”So What’cha Want” is definitely one of my favorite all-time cuts. Period. And this rendition with The Roots—very tasty. After watching it, though, I feel they should be called the Beastie Men. C’mon, they’ve earned it!

Ad-Rock, MCA and Mike D will release the reissue of Ill Communication on July 14—also a great disc. But bugger all that; the Beasties will release a new record in September called Hot Sauce Committee. Mmm … sounds delicious. Where do I sign up?
