Sad. The entire thing is sad. Hell, I got sad every time I heard one of Michael Jackson’s songs and thought about how talented he was and how far he had fallen. Sad.

If there’s anything really striking about his life (and I loved old-school MJ, so I think there’s a lot of good content there), it’s how he really hit both ends of the fame spectrum. His popularity made him the most respectable name in pop music, and it completely undid him, too.
