La Sera: A bloody good time

La Sera—Spanish for “the Sera”—is the new project of Katy Goodman, former bassist of Vivian Girls … English for Las Chicas Vivian. Expect a new full-length early next year. In the meantime, feast on the first single “Never Come Around” (7-inch out Nov. 16 on Hardly Art), a pop song cut in the tradition of Phil Spector’s pre-prison walls, Wall of Sound days. And the accompanying vid? I was too busy falling in love with Goodman to notice the body parts strewn about her garage.
