Carl has created a lot of games while the family has been in lockdown: The Dinosaur Game, Plane Catcher, and Socko, just to name a few. They’re very cool, and very fun. Carl also likes to play some of the classics: Candyland, Sorry!, Battleship. Anything to pass the time and be creative!

Major League Baseball is back. Yay! Wait…yay? It’s questionable whether baseball should have returned this season, as COVID has already affected teams and schedules. But Carl and Daddy and the fam love baseball anyway. And Carl is quite a good little hitter and fielder. In this episode they discuss their love for America’s Pastime.

A slight detour, as Carl and Daddy have discovered a silly little show called Floor Is Lava. For Daddy it takes him back to being a kid traversing couches and pillows to avoid the “lava.” For Carl it’s opened up a whole new world, where now they’re making their own lava courses.

Carl and Daddy loooooove to read. And Carl is turning out to be such a good reader. It started early with Curious George books, and now he’s getting into longer chapter books. It’s an important skill that keeps our brains sharp and our minds open. Carl and Daddy talk books, Reading Rainbow, and Carl even reads from a couple of his favorite books.
