Welcome. You’ve unearthed The Days of Lore, based in Portland, Oregon, and operated by writer, editor, DJ, and stay-at-home dad, Mark Lore. This is a repository for his half-witted opinions on music, culture, life, and everything in between. There’s a little something here for everyone, although he’ll probably just talk about his records a lot.
The Days of Lore started out as an arts and culture column in a northern California alt-weekly way back in 2005, and became a music-focused blog a few years later. TDoL‘s untimely demise in 2015 coincided with a server crash, and Mark becoming a stay-at-home dad. But he’s back. And while there are still stretches of inactivity here…he’s not dead yet.
